Colored Angora Goats
Breeding for angora goats with color is a newer venture in goat keeping. Hand-spinners like to use the naturally colored fleeces to make beautiful yarns. They are a medium sized goat with docile, laid back personalities.
We have a small herd of show quality angora goats and breed for animals with fine fleeces and strong conformation. I find that Michigan is a great place to raise angora goats.
I am a member of Spinners Flock, and EAGMA the Eastern Angora Goat and Mohair Association. We often show our angoras at Michigan Fiber Festival in August.
