Highlander Yarn by MacGregor Hollow
This wonderful millspun yarn is made from mohair from my angora goats. I care for my goats and shear the mohair myself. The wool comes from local farms. I skirt and wash the fleeces. A local mill cards the fleece and spins it into a 2 ply worsted weight yarn. I hand dye the yarn beautiful colorways that enhance the mohair. Some of the yarn has a white base and others are over-dyed on the natural gray or taupe color of the goats.
Highlander yarn is perfect for garments to keep you warm and cozy when you’re out in cold, harsh environments like the Scottish Highlands.
