Maisie Yarn by MacGregor Hollow
Maisie is such a beautiful yarn, so soft with a lovely sheen. Maisie is the name of one of my favorite goats and with the Scottish meanings of Maisie being pearl and pretty, it is the perfect name for this yarn. Made from 100% yearling mohair from my goats which makes it wonderfully soft.
I shear the goats, skirt and wash the fleeces and a mill spins the fleece into yarn for me. I hand-dye the yarn into my magnificent signature colorways. There is some variance in the spinning style, creating a bit of a boucle type effect in some areas.
Maisie Yarn is fingering weight and is perfect for items like scarves, cowls and shawls where it will drape beautifully.
