Highlander yarn is perfect for garments to keep you warm and cozy when you’re out in cold, harsh environments like the Scottish Highlands.

This wonderful mill-spun Farm Yarn starts with mohair from our angora goats. The wool comes from local farms. Melanie skirts and washed the fleeces. A local mill cards the fleece and spins it into a 2 ply worsted weight yarn. Melanie hand dyes the yarn beautiful colorways that enhance the mohair. Some of the yarn has a white base and others are over-dyed on the natural gray or taupe color of the goats.
